Well it looks like Ritchie won't (can't?) produce any photo's to identify which peg the fish were caught from, I was just reading the "I love bream...." post on NM's page 4 half way down, and found this......

 Quote:
no m8 , alot of people thought that, ive fished it on and off for the last 3 years more off than on, around 20 days in all , but this year i started baiting a swim at the end of may and it just went off

To be allowed on the pool in May I along with others had to do 4 work parties, but this fellah seems to think it OK to come down and prebait, which is against club rules anyway but to do it when he's not even allowed on the lake and announce it on a public forum?

Looks like this geezer just doesn't give a shite about his fellow anglers.

This guy has a total disregard for all the anglers who have and are putting huge effort into the pool.

All those fishing the water atm who have invested time and money in the hope of putting one of these rare fish on the bank in a legitimate situation, will be gutted by ritchie's fish at all cost angling approach.

Very sad that what seems to be such a capable angler has failed to uphold the unwritten 'pool' rules and tainted his reputation for the rest of his fishing days.

This is a very special water which has been part of my life since being a youngster, which has over the years run by gentlemans rule.

The anglers that frequent the water i consider to be some of the most capable and respectfull you would ever meet and all of the regular's bar none have upheld the rules in such a way that made fishing the pool a pleasure.

"The lad who caught the tatton common" has now become "The lad who had a couple of fish from the out of bounds"

And as the topic suggests oh yes it is "One capture too many"

Totally agree with you on that one....

never been so annoyed with an angler as i am with this guy...
turning up at midnight 3 times a week so i can get a decent swim for 5am.... all the while he was filling it in and catching my target fish from the out of bounds during the night..
fair to say i'm quite annoyed...

that common prob won't be out for another two years now and the bream... who knows.... lots of time and money wasted because of this fool
