Howdy folks, long time no speak!

I'm in the market for a new bivvy, looking for a 1 man job, rapid erection is a must It would mainly be used for overnighters, and also a week in France.

Was looking on eBay, saw the trident on there for £285, but after a quick search on here it didn't get too good feedback....

Considered the Armadillo, is this still generally regarded as the best bivvy?

£300 is probably my limit.

I'd be very grateful of any help - thanks.

edit: if you know of a cheap source of receommended bivvy please do share

Loc: on the lookout.
i tell you what mate, i was out fishin the other night in those rediculous winds in my nash pre-98 titan with winter skin on, ;\)

it never moved a muscle.

bet you could save yourself a few quid if you can pick one of these up second-hand.

ive had this bivvy since new and had it out in some serious conditions when lesser bivvys have simply crumpled..

i know its not a massive bivvy inside but what it lacks on the inside it more than makes up for in strength and reliability!

just a thought!

Check out Kent Tackle mate doing the original Trakker Pioneer which is the same as the Aqua Pioneer for £299.99.Bargain if you ask me but I think they only have 2 left.Plenty of room and they don't come quicker to erect and made of Aquatex material.

I was under the impression it was the same thing - thanks.

Do you think the MK2 is worth £300? Is the extra £100 worth it for the MK3 (a bit out of my price range atm).

Thanks for your input.
