I've also got problems. My order arrived ok, however the item broke on first use. It has been returned and replaced so no problem there.
I've emailed twice about a refund of my return postage costs for faulty goods but no reply (in line with posted policy). They may be working with the manufacturer to sort it out but if they don't tell me that i can only assume i'm being ignored.
Rubbish customer service.

Paul, thanks for trying however still no contact from the forum shop. I think it's fair to say I shan't be using them again, I would think Naldo won't and to be honest I think other potential customers reading this thread will be having second thoughts.

Hi Rainbow66.. I have passed your complaint onto Swifty's website manager and asked for it to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

Unfortunately we have no control over Swifty's Tackle and complaints like this have led to us setting up a much better and more professionally-run shop ourselves, which should be live at the end of the month (ish) and over which we have total control....

Wew'll have a much better range of quality carp gear than Swifty's - and cheaper too!

Naldo has been e-mailed and telephoned several times about the Fox jacket which is out of stock.

He has not replied to any of the mails or phone calls...we can't help him if he doesn't come back to us....

In the abscence of any response from Naldo we have refunded his money today....

BRB, I don't believe for one minute that our guys are sitting there ignoring your mails....unless they never got to them..what would be the point of that?

We pride ourselves on our customer service and there are dozens of testimonials on the shop site praising it....

Please forward the mails to me or PM them to me please....

Thanks for replying. I used the "contact us" part of the website, I don't think that saves a copy that I can access. I would think the shop has it unless there is a problem. Shall I have another go at contacting them?

I spoke to Jim yesterday about your mails and there are no outstanding mails...

If you used the contact us on the main site it would not have got to them, you must use (sorry if you did) the contact us on the FW shop site. It would be worth doing again it could have been a technical gliche...

If you speak to Jim you'll know he's not the sort to mess people around... \:\)

Hi Paul,
I used the shop contact page.
I repeated my request for a postage refund again via the shop site contact page on Sunday. It's Tuesday pm now and again no response.
I think he has ground me down now, I know the postage cost is only a few quid but I believe it's my money!!
Thanks for trying anyway.

See my post elsewhere in the forum as this seems to be the thread the issues are being addressed in, I can get an answer on the phone, but not emails ... !!??!!

"I recently tried to buy some tackle from the fishing warehouse and had a bit of a bad experience to be honest .. so this is just a heads up really from a customer service point of view!!!

I ordered some items via the webshop a chair and some other stuff on Sunday 29th July

Come Wednesday I called to see where the said items were .. only to be told, two of the items were not in stock (note. i hadn't been informed of this, despite sending off 3 emails at this point to the contact us form)

On Wednesday the unknown member of staff .. stated he would send the items out that day or at the lastest Thursday to arrive today 3rd August. (I decided on a slightly more expensive chair which was in stock)

I phoned today (friday 3rd Aug) spoke to Les to ask when the products would be arriving only to be told they wouldn't be, as they hadn't been dispatched !!!

I have now requested a full refund which I am informed will be back on my credit card in a few days ...

Hopefully it will be !!!

Im not being especically critical here and as long as I get my refund processed at a decent speed all will be well but from a customer service, response to customer enquires this has been a bit of a mess

I'd like to think someone may respond to these queries here ... but maybe not based on my experiences of responses to emails

i'm sure i may be an isolated case!"

What would be nice is a better email system whereby confirmations of refunds, confirmation of items being out of stock went out fast-ish after all as the banner above this post states "We only sell tackle we stock"

I also sent my request for a refund in writing and cc'd myself in on it, but like the other 3 emails asking where my items were .. no response, in a world where "Calls are not recorded for training purposes" theres no comeback on what people say verbally

What should be noted was that I literally stayed in the house the whole week waiting for these goods to arrive by courier! when I could have been doing other things!!!!

By the way Paul .. ive only just seen this post so couldn't PM you ... If i use the shop again and run into similar problems I will . In fact I think I will just to make sure my refund is being processed if thats ok !

I'll get onto this straight away...very concerned, although I do know that BT screwed up the shops internet access for a fortnight which meant a big back-log of orders and a breakdown in stock control.....

Despite this, it's not satisfactory, so rest assurred I'm on the case!

Yeah the money was refunded as promised within 3 days or so Paul thanks .....

I think the lesson here is confirm the items are in stock first and place the order via telephone if you can instead of the web !!! it seems to work that way more efficiently !!

Please read the reply from the FW Shop below:

"Hi Paul

There was a problem with duplicate Protx payments which we picked up the next day from the daily transaction statement in this customers case. The 4 refunds were made within an hour of us being aware and a note put on his account at the same time notifying him of the situation.

If you look at the refund list below including Michael's, Daniel Bennet,Peter Carlton & Paul Taylor were also impacted. I trolled through all this months detailed transaction list and also found 3 more duplications which were refunded yesterday.

Needless to say we raised an immediate ticket with Protx technical support team and yesterdays transactions (29/4/08) show no duplications."

So Michael this is the SECOND time you have posted on this public forum completely false allegations against the good name of our shop and company. STOP IT PLEASE....;\)
