all of april i have been doing a 37 mile round trip to fish and bait a lake,only managing 3 or 4 hrs fishing each night of the week and 40 hr sessions at weekends.2 fish to show for it,22.08 common the best.i arrive on friday night to find 2 teenagers fishing in the swims i had been pre baiting,lo and behold,what do they do?only knock out the 2 biggest in there,28.10 common and a 25.12 mirror.......gutted with myself for getting ther later than i usually do,but then again,happy to see those fish grace the bank........................wish it was me tho!

Well the baited swim on the canal and baited only in the evenings.... All sounds good you say

Err NO, it was the local canal fetival of boats from all over showing thier wares to each other and boucy castles and the likes.. So I sat there and watched the 30 or so boats.... did see soo much muck rest on the line as it entered the water.

I did learn that the amount of crap in the water effects the line so much when a boat boes by, as no boats go by in the evenings.

Any ways a few bleeps probably from the rouge bream in the area.
