Well so far this year ive been mostly catching fork all which considering I aint been fishing isnt a bad result...well to be honest I went to an old haunt that hadnt been fishing well for weeks and managed a sh1tter and lost one in 6 hours so that wasnt to bad

I'll keep you posted on how the fishing isnt going as and when it doesnt happen....and as per usual even if it does you wont be knowing about it

I'm afraid Beaky is now serving a permanent ban from FW, following his posting of illegal (under the Race Relations Act 1976) racist posts on the Forum...which put this site at risk from the law...

After previous bans, for similar posts, he should have known better...

This was a decision reached by the entire Moderator and Admin team, who felt they were being shown no respect whatsoever by Beaky who totally ignored Forum rules over a long period, despite warnings ... .. and never posted one single helpful fishing-related post to the other members on here...

The man's his own worst enemy.... .. and I'm sure he'll flourish on the minor, rarely visited Forums elsewhere...

I've spoken to Beaky on one of the Shropshire meres Pete and told him that he used to make me laugh when I took a lookin on here...he said hes got better things in life nowdays than internet forums although he still looks at them now and again except he cant see this one as hes blocked or something. He an alright guy who just tells it how it is and when I asked him why he was banned he told me he had done a bit of abusing but didnt say what,he certainly didnt think it was OTT or out of order.

Anyway....if hes not allowed back on then its sad for the site as he certainly caused a lot of posts to happen rightly or wrongly.LOL.

With all due respect to those who keep asking for Beakys ban to be lifted, or any other members ban while were on the subject. You do not know all the facts or the history behind the bans. The members do not see the offending posts because if we are doing our job correctly they don't last long. Members also have little or no idea about previous bans or private warning a member may have received.

In short you do not know or see the full story. Indeed it is quite feasible for a member to be banned without it ever appearing to the other members that they have done anything wrong.

Seeing as there will be no more entries into the Captains Blog and given that it has gone totally of topic I am now closing the thread.
