I don't believe for one minute that Tabley Moat has produced a 40lb carp....

It wasn't caught by Gill Wright was it? Older FW members may recollect this Lymm stalwart who was catching 40's from the Village Pool at Whitley when the biggest fish in there was 21lbs...

Don't forget the 30 from Whitley itself and the 30 odd from Grimbitch,
and he truly believed it!!!

Driving past a (shhh!) Cheshire lake this evening, I saw 3 times as many cars parked there than I have in months.
So.... I phoned a committee member to ask what rumours are going around, cynical me , it turns out someone recently caught a 30lber.

Please pm me with any further details if anything is known. hush-hush.
