Holwell is an easy water m8, a good tactic ova there is a pva bag of pellet and a boilie on the hook, or and i kno this works try a method feeder works good, and also dont forget the middle of the lake every one casts to the islands and stuff it works but it is good to try the middle of the lake and the close margins are very productive, GoodLuck, on ya travels m8y, and also where u live?

I think you've been missinformed on Fairlands. It is fairly low stocked but has a lot more fish than you think. It has a reputation as a dodgy water - i.e. don't do nights alone !

Well said rotofryer, ill hav to agree with u there, i kno im a kid myself 15, but i hav respect, but most of the ppl that fish there, are , u get the picture, casting ova me line etc etc, but its ok for the starter angler as there are lots of kids there, if i fish there its usually in the winter coz its too cold for the kid's. & by the way young carp this is where i posted bout holwell, OK.
