Had a phone call today from a good friend of mine called Tony who was fishing last night with a friend on Thompsons Pool. He & his friend woke this morning to find that there rods, alarms, pods and everything else that you would normaly leave outside had gone!!!! They even had the nerve to reach inside the other lads bivvy and pinch his mobile phone and wallet off his bivvy table!!!! Touch wood this has never happened to me, but just thinking about it makes me feel sick. Its not just getting your tackle robbed that you've worked long and hard for but what might of happend had one of them woke up! I know that if i woke to discover someone helping themselfs to my gear i like to think that i would be rageing bull, but if they have got the nerve to swipe two swims worth of gear what else would they be willing to do to you if they got caught in the act?

BAS*ARDS!!!!!!
i think i would be the same, stright out the bivvy screaming and shouting. being n ex 2nd row forward i thing one of them at the least would end up in the drink, and the solid stainless bankstick in the holdhall would come out!

just hope no guns around!
