OK this is going out to all the NW boys,What do u think is the hardest most head bangging water in the area and for what reason do think this,it might be hard cos;angling pressure,u never get in the swims or low stock, very wise fish that hav seen everything, out of bounds areas that u can not get to,
MY VOTE
COLEMERE,Low stock and out of bounds
SMITHS,Small gaff very wise fish

I expect loads of none answers on this 1 as its hard enough to get some of the NW lads to admit they have carp in their waters at all

Yes but there are a lot more waters in the Northwest other than Gorsty Hall and Sale water park Richard!

Bridgewater canal and other canals. Good fish in most but they are by far the largest waters we have. Location of better fish is a nightmare. Smiths was tough for it needed all aspects taken into account. A place called black leach was difficult because it only had abut half a dozen carp. Now finding it difficult to get to large fish on bradshaw because of hundreds of darn little blighters. Getting there though good head of doubles under me belt and a twenty+. Think its easier to say what the easy and moderatly easy waters are then what you are left with is the toughies.

I once fished capesthorne garden pool after it had been drained cos the plug hole had sprung a leak and all the fish put in the top pool it was then refilled minus the fish and i didnt know.........that was quite hard!

The big sandiway lake of warrington AA.
Never fished it but i know its not easy, not that many fish in there but one or two worth going for?
A little bird told me that there was an upper thirty out a week or so ago.

Loc: watching that silver mk11 capr...
got to agree with analimal on this one
the hardest place i have ever fished is the top canal at bolton plenty of people come and have a go and then skulk off with there tails between there legs
am not bothered thow for it gives me more chance of that uncaught 40
my second choice would be gawsworth hall in macc
