Top stuff gents!

I did a bit of digging thru' previous posts on bait and a few web sites and I have sort of arrived at this.

400g Herring meal
200g Pre-digested Fishmeal
200g Lactalbumin
100g Egg powder
100g Soya meal
N-Butyric acid
Liver powder
Minamino
15 ml herring oil

Are the pre-digested fishmeal and Lactalbumin pointless expensive additions? Will it roll?Do I need to increase the binders? Is Egg powder realy any good or is Egg Albumin worth the extra?

I'd like to create a bait with a 40% protein content that is 100% usable by a Carp am I dreaming?

I think further investigations are necessary I Know what Amino Acids are req by a carp but I came up against the same problem as Andy Jack did recently ie what Ingredients contain them and in what amount. Then theres the problem of wether all the ingredients will work together to allow the carp to utilise them......ooooh....my head hurts.

I like the sound of Belachin but would need to have this mix rolled (not seen my rolling table and gun in ten years and i'm glad) but it sounds impractical to get this into a mix.

Now`s the time Bomber, all those dark winter nights spent slaving over a hot burco.......

Don`t think i`ve ever seen that much Lactalbumin included in one mix before ,far too expensive at 20%.
Keep the predigested meal to 10%
Abit of CLO and semo won`t hurt the mix and if a bait should still tend to break up then including some wheat gluten usually comes to the rescue.

Some of Moores recipes linked below although it`s very much geared to the products they sell.

3 cars to re-build
1 house to re-build
1 small screaming baby to welcome into the world
1 existing small boy to teach swear words to
1 garden to reclaim from nature
3 brilliant white kitchen worktops
1 extreemly agitated growing more murderous by the day woman

and some fish to catch.

......it could be the straw that broke the camels back

this is where the others come in to help or you do a lot of reading.
what i wont do, however, suggest everything. i myself was pointed in a certain direction a couple of years ago by a certain cullinary addition and went from there. but you soon realise its no point getting the info without knowing why?
