Speaking as an Independent, who`s only interest is the bit of Thames that flows past, and who`s only contact with other carp anglers is through this Forum, It is of little consequence to me who is doing what wherever, Further more it is of little concern where the record comes from, unless it comes from my swim.

Let us not forget fellas, that everyone is welcome to their own views on this forum. And too, we all are welcome to speak our minds, without being abusive or using verbal profanities.

So my personal reply is that I prefer 'Mickey mouse carp' over Micky mouse bull****

Axe.

PS. Fella, we did this crap before. It's nowt new.

Hey Axeman,
How's it going?
Amazing they can't come up with anything new! I quote from the Oxford Dictionary:
ECHO: A repitition of a sound : or, close immitation or immitator: or, circumstance or event reminiscent of an earlier one: or, IMITATE the opinions of another.
Quite an apt name. As we all know "an echo only goes on for so long" I do hope that's true!
With a little research the name ECHT would have been more suitable - it means Genuine- trouble is it's a german word - import an all that.

Would that not lead to cross contamination, if Dippy had contracted something nasty from its travels.

Blue boy.
Fame and fortune come in this game from recognition. Yes anyone wanting to get to the top has to earn the respect of the carp world. Now this may come of a bit of a shock, but the carp world is not an hand full of guys fishing one or two southern waters. The majority of carp anglers at best are not interested, some are quite clearly alienated by what you stand for. You will not convert anyone! Most are starting to get fed up of the whole issue. Quite sure that you and your like minded freinds have only best intentions in your hearts. But I am afraid that if you keep banging the drum, you will give us all an head ache. Keep your waters real protect true english carp by all means. But like it or lump it the foreign imports are here to stay. If the majority of the carp world know that, then you are flogging a dead horse.

Blue.

Please understand that I post my own personal views only.

I am not to blame for anything!

It's no good to me, and maybe others on this forum, if you choose to talk in code and ridiculous supposed familiarity.

Weston Part?, Dippy, Shitty and farty...WHO???

You may find this as a shock, but I personaly have no idea about what is going on in the real world of imports, named lakes and named fish, Acton, Ringstead, Darenth and the like.

So, point no 1. Make yourself clear when posting about where, when and what you mean.

2. I am one of the great unwashed, underpaid majority of un-informed working anglers, who struggle to pay their ticket for the odd weekend away from the drudgery of their unimportant boring average lives. (speaking generally to make the point)

So who are you or echo, or kir, to tell me that I cannot spend my hard earned on what for, when, and where I can fish.

What even makes it worse is that this/your brigade of KIR and ECHO cannot even unify under the same banner, because you too are uninformed about the reality of the situation regarding stocking yourselves. And even which fish will qualify to be accepted into your personal view of 'The future of Carp angling'

This is no more, at the moment, than rhetoric, spouted by those who choose to either further their own personal goals in the present over-financed pathetic political arena, or those that feel they have to 'join' something new to make themselves feel that they are on the cutting edge of carp angling.

I personaly don't give a monkeys arsehole what these/you boys think about what I fish for, and where I do it.

Why do you have the temerity to to think that I should?

I am all for freedom of choice. Perhaps you guys ought to understand that we are not so impressed by your talk, because I do not join *anything* that does not at least have a sound 'verbal' voice.

Or are you one of these little boys that have only just removed either, your physical diapers, or your verbal ones?

Make a stand, or forever hold your tongue.

Regards

Axe.
