Its bank holiday weekend and i'm really bored allready,nowt but decoratin' to look forward too how about firin up my imagination with some realy juicy roumers about mystery North West waters and mystery fish.you now the kind of waters i'm on about all those private meres and pits that are still being worked.No specifics just proper dodgy third hand tales told to you by a mate of a mate.please for fcuks sake somebody inspire me! come on i've had the map out all afternoon tell me something i dont know! Ok they are yorkshire waters (one only just though), but not that far from NW... dan

Heres an example.... I have had two fish out of Cole so far this season....I cant wait to see the photos... That is a true rumour circulating about me....Ive also ad a few from Redes as well..cant wait to see those photos either... Truth is totally different....Just because I HAVE caught fish from Shropshire...chinese whispers has turned it into Cole... If you could get within 200 yards of it with a rod that is. The 40s from Tatton mere The 40s from Tabley mere The list of romurs of Cheshire 40s goes on and on, all thought I did here a whisper of some one who goes by the name of Da Beak having the male from Redes in December at 40+. Can anyone confirm this

About the repeat capture in December...possible..I do drink a lot of Strongbow...I might have just put it back cause Ive already caught it...no point in fishing for the same fish year after year like some of the tosspots on there do... Ive ad my target fish..Im off to Shropshire now....Mind you that Brook ticket does sound tempting.... Anyway gotta go my m8's just rung me...he's on Burton mere and he's just ad a 37lb caommon....photo time.. Da Beak

Rostherne....Nah i'd need to spend more time with 'the window lickers' learning the ways of the force ..some nice telescopic rods about these days though Tatton....I've heard the stories.... it's a better proposition than Rostherne....dont say much does it Tabley.....it's gettin better you can actualy fish this one The Weaver...now theres one to get my juices flowin.Heard a tasty little snippet today as it happens might have to do some diggin'.any suggestions anyone? come and spill your guts at my alter.furnish me with you scant roumers and mystical tales of giant carp

About 15 years or so ago, I put a small mirror carp in my back garden plastic liner pond. Given the fact I initially fed it on a diet of trout pellets and Monster pursuit crumb, I suspect this fish now is at the very least an upper thirty. It would probably go just over 40 at the right time of year. If you send me £50 I'll give you the address.

This is a good un'. my mate has been fishing a small local pond and the other week did the night and caught a 24lb mirror, he know some lads who have fished it since kids who confirmed this was the biggest fish in the lake. the following morning a local noddy turns up and shouts across the pond "thad art lad"? my mate advised he has had the lakes biggest at just over 24lb. "Nar" shouts matey, there a 30lb Common in here, i've had it.. my mate says "oh right.. what was the weight then 30lb, 31lb...?? "Orr nor, I didn't weight it but a tell thee it was definately a ferty!!". He then walked off to set up down the other end!! Ads
