Can anyone recommend a good insurance company who will insure my takle (fishing tackle that is).

Zombie, do a search on insurance on the forum archive.

This one has been done many times and you will find all of the info you need on it m8.

Long and short is your own house insurance will cover your items. you want unspecified personal possesions away from the home with accidental damage.

Mine covered me breaking a rod whilst running with it. Will also be covered for theft.

All risks policy extension or a specific sports equipment policy extension.
My Co-op contents sports equipment extension was approx £20 last year
