I recently joined ECHO and got me badge but was wondering about the ECHOES newsletter. I've seen the cover on other sites but not sure whether I'm eligible for a copy or not. Anyone know anything about it - how I can get hold of one??

Gaptooth,

Maybe worth speaking to someone at Yateley Angling Centre as this is now the ECHO office.
They should be able to sort you one out I would think.

Why are so many people Anti echo now?All their aiming to do is protect what we already have!
Their main policy is to stop the illegal importation of carp!To protect our existing stocks! What's wrong with that???

Cheers

John.

Asking questions of ECHO is not anti-ECHO. How many times must this be spelt out by myself and others on these forums?

Lord give me strength...

Satan... The mandate that Craig has hosted on his site which was formerly and firstly posted on FW by myself, is donkeys old, (relatively) with the addition of the relented clause of allowing anyone to join (rather than sponsored members)

The details of that simple text still lack definition, even after having asked the hierarchy to elaborate upon here on FW: have still declined to do so, even after promises to do so. This was months ago on this forum based on questions forwarded in advance. Where were they...?

There is no way whatsoever that all the details of their involvement politically and practically within the carp angling world, have been answered enough to perhaps persuade the sceptics to reach into their wallets and produce the cash to enable the full support of which they may enjoy, if they had done so.

There are still issues to be resolved and questions to be answered of which some are still asking, even after a year (at least) of sticking our heads up our arses.

Is the internet not a great way to get free advertising to the masses, via forums?

Perhaps as a newer member (to FW) , you have missed these miniscule details... and I have not read anymore in the rags either.

Axe

Now I will expect to hear from all those less lucid people who are going to call me anti-ECHO... because I and others dare to ask questions of them....

I posted this some time back;
Question: Could somebody please advise/explain exactly what the policies and aims of this much talked about organisation are and how they intend to implement them?

Still waiting!!!!
