The SAA are compiling a list of anti-angling letters and TV / radio discussions. Can I therefore ask you all to forward anything you see or hear to us please. As much information as possible including the paper or magazine or the TV / radio station with time and date would be very helpful.

You can contact me on;

webmaster@saauk.org

Thanks in advance,

Rob Stubbs.

I'm not catching at all, but haven't been out for nearly a month. I'll be doing a couple of nights this w/e though.

As for SA, most deffinately interested - drop me a mail or PM me. I haven't heard from Bruce in a while so I'll have to see what they've been up to out there.

ATB,

Rob.

I have popped over from the carp forum.
There was an article in a newspaper that another forum member brought to my attention that i couldn,t help but reply to.
It was written by a Theresa Thom, obviously someone with some kind of connection to a AA organisation.

It can be found on page 6 of the message board, under the sub heading of "air your views" titled "Lets ban fishing now"

You may have to do a biy of hunting in the archives but it won,t be that difficult, the date of the article is Sept 4 2002

My name is Anthony Coser, i wrote the first reply to this "woman"

www.cambridge-news.co.uk

Hope this helps

Think I saw something about PETA having a go at KFC in the states on the BBC web site a few days ago.

My fear is that IF Fox hunting is banned they will turn there full attention to Angling,

We all know the threat they pose by putting a virus into our Pcs but what else are they likely to do?????

We need to keep a step in front and anything we can get on them is good,

Annoyed with the new stop smoking add with giant hook. ok its aimed at smokers like my self, but in fishing terms it does not take much thought to connect the scene to fish. you grimace at the thought of being hooked in the cheek. millions of peeps are seeing this ad. will they see the connection with fish. Fishing line, fishing hook, pain!! dead right they will.not the type of thing we anglers need shown to the masses.
