all in all i had a cracking time but lancs lad took us on the tour de france getting there left home at 6 am arrived at the lake at 2 am next day considering he is ex army he cant read a map
news has been posted on the web and to my joy ive beaten him hands down again ( ask him about wave boarding ????? )
as for the two fish he landed the common was taken from my swim and i let him have that one because i was to tired to get to my rod and i was feeling a bit sorry for him i think he only invited me along so that he could use the van to get him there and i would buy all the beer UPS DID HE GET IT WRONG""""" better luck next time son ??? LANCS DAD

All I can say is well done, son.

You and Lancs are welcome back anytime.

But put him in my swim next time!

Why not have a winter session? It's mild here, mate - bring the missus!

paul
the first time ive been to france and i achived 2 x personel best the lake is ideal and the fish were good sport its a pitty lancs and his pal dident do as well as me
but i must admit i personaly missed a lot of runs and if i were anything like a good carp fisher man the total would have been a lot higher than it was
over all the fish were there for the taking but alas at times we were all a bit on the slow side when it came to hooking the fish
i would have liked to have seen the two fish that took lancs for a ride but alas the fish were better than he was on the day (reeal big kippers i would say ) " better luck next time " i hope ?????
