Cheers mate..Shame it was raining so hard..Hence the rain spot on the lens.
Still dont think the piccy does the fish justice..colours were something else.
Pleasure to have caught it, and to have a few lads there to witness it.

Nice one Tudge a cracking fish at any time of year, but even more so considering its December and given the recent weather.
I know its been said above but it is worth repeating stunning colours.

nice fish mate! is that an ex canal fish? seem to remember catching it many moons ago about 14lb....how big was it?......got a foto somewhere!

Not to sure Gaz..it weighed 27lb 10oz, Matt Pilky said the same as you after the pics and weighing he thought it was a canal fish and he may have had it around 14lb.

Stunning winter colours on that one! The one they call Shoulders? There another ex canal fish at a similar weight but more dumpy.
