weird how things work out,i'd never seen that fish before you caught it then on my very next trip up there i go and catch it myself.... how spooky is that

Went through it myself. It's not easy carp fishing after something like that. Too much time to think, if you know what I mean. Top fish though, do I know where its from?

You will if i tell you ..Wyre lake, from in between the Swamp and the Gravelly. Close range..well any closer and the bait would have been on the bank. Seem to remember Eagle and myself had an awful lot of big fish in front of us over them two days. ..

I think they called it the Slate Grey over the last few years Eddy.
We knew it as the Grey Scaley or Big Scale.
Unfortunately it died recently over the Christmas period.. top fish.
